As-built building documentation captures a structure's layout, dimensions and technical systems exactly as they exist today, not as drawn in the original project documentation, which after decades of use rarely matches reality.
We survey on site with LiDAR scanning, without needing to open up ceilings or interrupt the building's operation. From the point cloud we produce accurate 2D drawings, including floor plans, sections and elevations, in formats architects and building authorities already work with.
As-built documentation is typically needed before a renovation, when selling or leasing a property, for insurance, or when the original project documentation is missing or no longer matches reality, something building authorities routinely ask to see proof of. We document flats, houses, and large commercial or public buildings alike.
Price depends on the building's size and complexity. A simple floor plan with flat ceilings costs less than a building with vaulted ceilings or multiple floor levels. We're happy to put together a no-obligation quote after a short consultation.
