LiDAR scanning
Point cloud & LiDAR scanning
LiDAR scanning is a contactless measuring method that captures the coordinates of millions of points across a building's surface and builds an accurate digital model of it, a point cloud. It's the fastest way to get reliable data on a structure's real, as-built condition.
We scan with the handheld Leica BLK2GO (on foot, no tripod) and the autonomous flying BLK2FLY for roofs and façades you can't normally reach. Both capture up to 420,000 points per second at ±0.3 mm accuracy, so even a large site is surveyed in hours, not days.
The output is a point cloud in formats engineers already work with: the basis for CAD drawings, BIM modelling, GIS analysis and reverse engineering of technical systems. We deliver finished data within 48 hours of scanning as standard.
A point cloud is also the raw input for as-built documentation. If you need finished drawings on top of the survey, we build on the same capture without re-measuring.
